Cradle Epic ― Himekishi no Togiba

Since the Revolution for Women's Rights thousands of years ago, the entire Cradle Continent has been ruled by the power of three princess knights, based on the power of women:

The highest priesthood, the highest faith. The Queen of the Sun is said to have been chosen by the gods for all eternity, Retsuyo has the most powerful heavy cavalry at her disposal, and is the most powerful on all continents.

Sovereignty, firm loyalty. A sturdy and invincible infantry corps of the Astral Kingdom, whose absolute ruler is the Astral Queen, it is called the shield of the cradle continent.

The honor of a citizen, the honor of a hero. With a parliament of 7 supreme magistrates, the Dark Moon Federation is proud, and boasts alchemy and gunpowder technology.

Although there is occasional friction between the three major powers, there is generally good competition and a trend toward overall development.

However, in the year 340 of the Cradle calendar, the tranquility of the Cradle was broken by a foreign force from the north. It was the appearance of the Witch Church.

They came from a distant world of demons. In the demon world, the Great Demon God Moffist united and ruled brutally. Then the Church of Witches rebelled, but was defeated...

Great Sage Nix, the older sister of the Great Demon God and supreme leader of the Witch Church, left the demon world with them and decided to look for a new place to live.

The Church of Foreign Witches made a full-scale invasion of the Cradle. Witches and Princess Knights have been at war for 200 years.Both sides have invested a great deal of military power and once became enemies for generations.

After 526 years of Cradle history, another powerful force has landed here. The witches' nemesis, Daimajin, who also came from the demon world, and her army pursued them. The cruel genie indiscriminately attacks the witches and princess knights in an attempt to destroy the cradle. The entire cradle is threatened with destruction.

Against a common enemy, the witches and princess-knights, who are longtime enemies, are forced to form an alliance and work together to resist the Daimajin's invasion. The Allied Forces engaged in a tragic decisive battle with the Demon Army and suffered great losses.

The war was over. The natives of the continent and the freedom-hungry demons were victorious.

But the war never ended for good. When Lilith, head of the Council of Witches, said: "I can't stop bullying the princess knights" in front of them, a new "war" had already begun. This time, however, the format was a little different.

They made a "military" pact in which both sides of the war were fully protected. The weapons and magic used in the war by both sides were specially treated so that neither side's personnel would die or become disabled when used.
The loser was then taken prisoner and subjected to various punishments,
and had to either wait for the next prisoner exchange or escape on his own. In addition, both sides would jointly establish an arbitration mechanism to oversee this treaty and monitor the wars of both sides to ensure that there were no actions outside of the treaty.
